Frequently Asked Questions

Have questions about The Father? Here are some answers to help you get the most from this book.

Why did you write this book? +

I wrote The Father because I believe the greatest discovery any person can make is knowing the Father who has always loved them. In our world of constant noise and striving, many people miss the simple truth that they are loved unconditionally by God. This book is an invitation to discover that love and walk in it daily.

Who is this book for? +

This book is for anyone seeking to know God more deeply. Whether you're new to faith, returning to your faith, or deepening a lifelong relationship with the Father, The Father is designed to meet you where you are. It's for those who want to move beyond intellectual understanding to personal, intimate knowledge of God.

How should I read this book? +

There's no "right" way to read this book. Some people read it daily, others weekly. Some read it straight through, others take time with individual chapters. The goal isn't to finish quickly—it's to draw closer to the Father. I recommend reading slowly, reflecting on what resonates with you, and taking time to pray and meditate on the Scriptures referenced throughout.

Why "The Father"? +

The title reflects the central message of the book: God is our Father. Not a distant judge, not an impersonal force, but a loving Father who knows us, cares for us, and has always been calling us home. This relationship—being known and loved by the Father—is the foundation of everything else.

Why no denomination? +

This book is rooted entirely in Scripture and focuses on the universal truth that all believers share: we are loved by the Father through Jesus Christ. While I respect the diversity of Christian traditions, I wanted to write something that speaks to the common foundation we all share, regardless of our denominational background.

What Bible translation is used? +

The ESV (English Standard Version) is the primary translation used throughout The Father. However, I occasionally reference other translations when they provide helpful clarity or emphasis. All Scripture quotations are clearly marked and referenced.

How can I use this book in a group setting? +

This book works beautifully in small groups, Bible studies, and church settings. We've created a Small Group Guide with discussion questions for each chapter. You can download it from this website or request it by contacting us. Groups typically meet weekly to discuss one or two chapters.

What if I have questions while reading? +

We encourage you to reflect on your questions and bring them to the Father in prayer. Often, He will answer through Scripture, through the Holy Spirit's prompting, or through conversations with other believers. If you have specific questions, feel free to contact us.

Can I share this book with others? +

Absolutely! We encourage you to share The Father with friends, family, and your faith community. This book is meant to be shared. If you'd like to purchase copies in bulk for your church or organization, please contact us for information about discounts.

What resources are available on this website? +
